VICTORIAN DESIGN The Victorian era lasted during the reign of Queen Victoria who ruled Great Britain from 1837 to 1901 or most of the ninteenth century. The proprietor of Gold Cat first encountered Victorian era molds in the early 1950's when she visited the workshop of one of the last mold makers in this tradition. The early mold making companies created hundreds of designs in molds for ice cream. Gold Cat used the molds to make colorful creations in soap.
